WSJ editorial on voter fraud

Amazing, Unbelievable that we live in a modern high-tech country , yet we allow this to go on election after election. Now, I realize that the writer is a Republican and a lawyer, but it seems he has the facts backing up what he is saying. Yet, no one reports this or worse yet, does nothing about it.

President Trump’s promise to investigate voter fraud has drawn predictable responses from Democrats and the media, who insist there is no such thing and have been fighting for years to prevent any inquiry into the matter. But an investigation in Mr. Trump’s hometown shows that the problem is real.

In 2013 the New York City Department of Investigation—the storied law-enforcement arm of city government, which houses and manages all the city’s inspectors general and investigators—decided to test the system. City investigators posed as 63 ineligible individuals still on the city voter rolls. Each ineligible voter had died, moved out of the jurisdiction, or been convicted of a felony at least two years earlier.

The investigators didn’t go to great lengths to hide their attempted fraudulent votes. In five instances investigators in their 20s or 30s posed as voters age 82 to 94. In some cases the investigators were of different ethnic backgrounds from the voters they were impersonating. Yet each was given a ballot and allowed to cast a vote without question.

In other instances the investigators informed the poll worker that they had moved but didn’t have time to get to their new home on Election Day; all but one was allowed to vote. Only one investigator was flat-out rejected. He had the misfortune of trying to vote at a polling place where the clerk was the mother of the ineligible felon he was impersonating.

Ninety-seven percent of the barely disguised phony voters were allowed to vote unimpeded, and none was referred for criminal charges or officially reported to the Board of Elections. One can only imagine what a sharp operator trying to fix an election could do by flooding polling places with ineligible voters.

The Department of Investigation proved how easy it is to perpetrate such a fraud. More important, it showed that such illegal behavior doesn’t get reported or corrected. When the department published its report, the Board of Elections took no steps to prevent future fraud. Instead, the board complained that the investigators engaged in voter fraud and should be prosecuted. The district attorney refused to charge the investigators for their productive and lawful investigation.

Last year a Democratic New York election official, Alan Schulkin, was forced to resign after he was caught on tape telling the truth about electoral process. “Certain neighborhoods in particular, they bus people around to vote,” Mr. Schulkin said. “They put them in a bus and go poll site to poll site.” In another case a local polling official reported to the police that a group of men had apparently voted more than once, while others were told they couldn’t vote because their ballots had already been cast. The police response, according to press reports, was that they don’t investigate alleged voter fraud.

In 2014 President Obama’s bipartisan Presidential Commission on Election Administration concluded that maintaining accurate election rolls was a key part of the democratic process. Yet subsequent efforts to do so has led to claims of voter suppression, thereby stalling progress.

And while New York does not require identification to vote, its registration requirements are fairly strict and there is no such thing as same-day registration. Many states are less stringent, which would make the opportunities for fraud greater.

America has a flawed voting system that is susceptible to fraud and has few precautions against it. A federal investigation could go a long way toward ensuring citizens U.S. elections are honest.

For What, You Say???

If this one doesn’t make the list of the most abusive use of my tax dollars, I will be disappointed. I could save them all that money. Here’s how:

1) Look down your pants. 2) If something is looking back, you are a male. Otherwise, a female. 3) If you think you are something other than what you see in 2), see a psychiatrist at your earliest opportunity

The United States Census Bureau is requesting at least $10 million to fund research and development on how to ask citizens about their sexual orientation and identity.

The money, which would be spent over several years, would be used to test different wordings for the question, examine response patterns, and craft the most succinct questions for the American Community Survey.

The census and its questions are often used as guides or referenced by other government agencies when crafting their own questionnaires for employees or the public.

A major consideration in crafting new questions for the U.S. Census is that many citizens’ information is reported via proxies. This includes parents, spouses, heads of household and more.

Proxies often fill out census information for everyone in their home, and how proxies describe the sexual identities of others in their house is another area of consideration.

The wording and details of the question could have cascading ramifications on how the government asks about sex and sexuality for years to come.

The House Committee on Oversight and Reform is currently discussing legislation that could require federal surveys to provide more nuance on sexual identity questions.

Population estimates released last month by the U.S. Census Bureau revealed that eight of the 10 largest cities in the U.S. lost population during the first year of the COVID-19 pandemic.  Wow, that is really important to know that, but, what sex where they? OMG!

Inflation running wild, gas prices to the ceiling, massive illegal immigration, and many more issues facing our once great nation, and they want $10 million to study how to ask someone what sex they are.  Folks, we are doomed as  a nation. The world is laughing at us. Meanwhile the so-called “silent majority” sits idly by suck their their thumbs.

Pennsylvania

Most do no know this but this place is not a state, but a Commonwealth. Big deal? No, not really as there are three others that are not “states.” Do you know which ones?  But then who cares, I sure don’t All of my kin came from PA, Altoona area to be exact. I spent a lot time there as a small child with my parents visiting kin. I always thought it was a beautiful place, and even considered possibly retiring there — sure glad that didn’t work out. Now it has become a liberal haven full of folks who are certainly not my kin anymore. I cringe when I see cars here with PA license plates during non-snowbird season. I hope they are here to escape the liberal mindset and not here with a goal of changing the color of our state.

Anyway, here’s one from my Marine brother, Greg.

Doubling down

By: G. Maresca

Given President Biden’s slumping approval numbers, CNN+s sudden termination, increasing crime rates, record inflation, a nonexistent border, transgender education being foisted upon kindergarten children, Democrats are doubling down with their four candidates for the open U.S. senate seat in Pennsylvania’s May 17th primary election.

It is easier to win an open seat than to defeat an incumbent. Retiring Republican Sen. Pat Toomey’s senate seat is a prime opportunity for Democrats to add to their senate number in a pivotal state that Biden carried in 2020.

These are the haughty days for the left owning the White House, both houses of Congress, academia, and the mainstream media.  Not to be outdone, their four Democrat senate contenders in the Keystone state are ideologically pure exemplars of this self-aggrandizing age.

Candidate Malcom Kenyatta’s senate website opens with a video of the 31-year-old state representative from Philadelphia kissing his gay lover. Prior to entering politics, Kenyatta served as the diversity and inclusion engagement coordinator for the Chamber of Commerce for Greater Philadelphia and is polling in the single digits. The same poll results have been following Alexandria Khalil whose campaign is about “compassion, justice, and prosperity for all.”

Who isn’t for such things?

The frontrunner is the goateed and tatted up Lt. Gov. John Fetterman, who prefers gym shorts over a suit, who not only leads in fundraising but the polls, too.  Fetterman is a 6’9” cantankerous and unapologetic version of Bernie Sanders.

The huge fund-raising advantage for Fetterman underscores the blunder of ratifying the 17th Amendment, where candidates are more beholden to out-of-state donors than they are to their own constituents.

Fetterman supports abortion up until birth, allowing transgender males to compete athletically against females, Medicare for all, a $15 minimum wage, a moratorium on fracking and “climate justice” whatever that is. Fetterman is also a favorite of the defund-the-police mob never turning down a speaking engagement.

What is little known is how as mayor of Braddock, Fetterman pulled a gun on an unarmed Black man jogging and accused him of committing a felony he did not commit. This is the same Fetterman that wants to seize your guns and a major reason why a majority of Americans value their Second Amendment.

Fetterman never met a tax or government program that he did not love. He is better fit as a stand-in for an Addams Family revival as either Lerch or Uncle Fester than taking a seat in the U.S. Senate.

Trailing Fetterman in Franklin & Marshall College’s latest poll 41% to 17%, is U.S. Rep. Conor Lamb with 26% of Democrats still bewildered. Lamb is pro-abortion, supports Biden’s Build Back Better Act and having the federal government regulate all voting and ending the Senate filibuster.

Lamb was one of three House Democrats who voted to make permanent provisions of the GOP sponsored 2017 tax reform bill. Lamb has also voted on bills with small numbers of Democrats where the Democrat National Committee knew would not pass the House. Those meaningless votes bestowed upon him the much-ballyhooed canonization as a “political moderate” in an evident appeal to voters.

On key leftist issues, however, Lamb marches lockstep with House Speaker, Nancy Pelosi. Being able to manipulate the electorate into believing they are electing a so-called moderate when in fact, they are every bit as left as the privileged running the party is essential.

They are all the same wolves whether sporting gym shorts or a blue pinstriped suit.

Left-wing groupthinkers and scolds that makeup the current breed of populist progressives, believe their senate candidates will embolden their base to win a battleground state like Pennsylvania. Democrats see no problem in doubling down on issues that fail to resonate with the majority and are proven failures. With each passing day, Democrats fall further under the sway of an outspoken leftist minority whose members care more about imposing an unpopular agenda than winning elections.

Democrats today are what would have been called communists 40 years ago.

This is yet another refined illustration of the dismal state of the Democrats, but never underestimate the dogmatic trifecta of your median Pennsylvanian’s naivety, their dead relatives, and fabricated ballots when it comes to electing a Pelosi puppet or Bernie Bro.

Today’s Potpourri by Choice

Wow, there is so much “stuff” going on in our world today, most of which is taking us away from the important items that we Americans  really care about, or perhaps I should reword that and say that I as an American really worry about. e.g., immigration, inflation, election credibility, demise of our 911 Force, lies and treachery by all our elected officials, especially in the intelligence community, and so much more.

I make no apologies for my not worrying at all about Ukraine vs Russia. Let them slug it out and may the best and strongest win. I am concerned more about China than Russia, but that’s just me.

Much of the BS going on I cannot do a damn thing about, so at my age and station in life, I simply ignore it, albeit I will say some of it does bother me. For example:

Or what about the criminals of criminals, Bill and Hillary, having to pay fines that amount to squat considering how much they squandered, But then they are the Clinton’s

FEC fines DNC and Clinton for Trump dossier hoax

What about Trump? Is he back on the attack? Wayne Root thinks so.

WAYNE ROOT: I Just Returned from Mar-a-Lago…and I Have Bad News for Democrats, America Haters and the Media: “TRUMP IS BACK!”

Oh, let’s not forget about our one-time mighty military force. What happened to it?

Finally, you hear the MSM pundits talk about our national debt and pontificate how it may be paid off someday. Have you any idea exactly what that big number equates to per American taxpayer? How about $242,500.00. Got that much hanging around in you bank accounts to help pay that off? Do any of you believe our current national debt  will ever be paid off? If you do, you my friend, are smoking some strong stuff. As an Economist, I side with  the group that laughs at that question and says no only no, buy “Hell no, it’s impossible; it will never be paid off even in your great, great grandchild’s lifetime.” Check out this website, browse around, it is filled with interesting data; go to it often and watch how it changes.

Other than that. all is going  swimmingly well in the deep bowels of Washington, D.C.

PS. Today laws are made not for justice, but for justification.

Have a great day! Sgt B
