Received a comment on my post entitled “Let’s Forgive Everyone” from a person who shows a link to his/her blog entitled, https://cafebedouin.org/. I visited the blog and all I can say is OMG, here’s another “one.” While I did reply with a few comments, I thought I’d post his comment so my followers could reply directly to him. Have at it folks, and as all of you do, please don’t hold back.
By Illinois, you must mean Chicago. The rest of the state shares your preferences. The idea that people poor enough to steal, with addiction problems, etc. might benefit from something other than jail time doesn’t sound as wrong-headed as you are desperately trying to paint it here.

This is just another liberal nut. I agree with others saying that I doubt that this individual was even in the Corps. Even a crappy Marine would have had the balls to sign their name to their post. Keep putting out your post as long as you can Col, it won’t be long before every voice the dares to challenge the lefts agenda will be silenced.

I doubt if the person who wrote this is a Marine. Surely the Marines would not have let someone in who is obviously so weak mentally. This could be anyone, probably some bozo brainwashed by liberal dogma. The “reasoning” (to use the term loosely) is really non-existent. His/her making a connection between this blog and the protesters is totally ridiculous and just another type of name-calling (which the liberals do so well). That seems to be all that this person is mentally capable of. What do we do with an ignoramus? We ignore them!

A thief is a thief period. Most will not rehabilitate themselves as long as their is no penalty for their misdeeds. Of all the liberal feel-good ideas employed over the years, few have made a discernable impact on crime reduction. A recent riot that did millions of dollars of damage in downtown Portland OR on New Year’s Eve is another example of failed liberal leniency by the town’s Mayor. Add that to the uncountable numbers of camps under bridges, in traffic roundabouts, and public parks complete with huge mounds of garbage and open feces in the streets. This is despite the fact that the city has made porta-potties and dumpsters available as well as designated areas for the camps, which are not utilized to any degree. The police are not supported by the administration but rather scorned publicly by the Mayor. No wonder why they are leaving in droves. Seattle is following in the same path and Chicago is not far behind.
Liberals need to wake up from their fairy tale ideas and face the reality of problems with a mindset geared to law and order fairly administered by a competent well funded police dept.
