Now, Jim, I happen to remember that night very well. And, frankly, I don’t think I did anything wrong. In point of fact, it was a possum not a raccoon, and the possum was playing dead. It was not passed out because I squeezed it too hard. It did nip at me when my attention was on the fence and pool, but it was so hot that night that I just needed to take a dip in the pool….no harm done and I went for the shallow end.
At Captain’s Mast, I explained all this to no avail. That’s my story and I’m sticking with it!
LOL, thank you for being a stand up guy and not telling the Skipper the Marine was driving. LOL
