Critical Race Theory is liable to end for reasons very similar to the reasons the Salem witch trials ended.
In January 1692, nine-year-old Elizabeth (Betty) Parris and 11-year-old Abigail Williams (the daughter and niece of Samuel Parris, minister of Salem Village) began having fits, including violent contortions and uncontrollable outbursts of screaming. After a local doctor, William Griggs, diagnosed bewitchment, other young girls in the community began to exhibit similar symptoms.
A special court, the court of Oyer and Terminer convened in Salem to hear the cases; and based on spectral evidence the first convicted witch, Bridget Bishop, was hanged that June. Eighteen others followed Bishop to Salem’s Gallows Hill, while some 150 more men, women, and children were accused over the next several months.
Opposition to the trials grew as the family and friends of more and more villagers were accused of witchcraft, including the wife of Governor William Phips. Governor Phips saved his wife by dissolving the Court of Oyer and Terminer and moving all trials to a higher court. This superior court did not allow “spectral evidence” and, since most of the earlier accused witches had been executed due to this evidence, any remaining witches were all ruled innocent.
The tide is turning against Critical Race Theory as those who endorse it become its victims. Most teachers and staff of New York schools went along with the CRT craze, because they were afraid they would lose their jobs if they spoke out against it. In fact even George Davison, the headmaster of New York’s Grace Church school that teaches CRT did not dare admit that he had said in a private conversation with Paul Rossi, a teacher at his school, that “we’re demonizing kids, we’re demonizing white people for being born.” Instead, Davison accused Rossi of misquoting him. Rossi released an audio recording proving his account was accurate after which Mr. Davison, perhaps with some persuasion from his school, decided to retire.
As is well known, revolutions eat their early supporters. Appeasing the CRT crusaders may protect the jobs of teachers and staff in the short term, but in the long term, CRT will destroy them. That is because the goal of the CRT crusaders is equity and achieving equity requires that the jobs whites have be transferred to people of color.
Teachers in the New York High School of Public Service experienced this directly after principal Paula Lev said she was going to get rid of white teachers and fired one of them. According to the New York Post, the teachers had overwhelmingly supported anti-racism and equity. These same teachers became its predictable victims. Prior to this the faculty had no problem teaching Critical Race Theory and dividing the school by race. Belatedly according to the Post, the faculty is rebelling, charging in a vote of no-confidence that Lev has “flagrantly but unsuccessfully attempted to divide our school by race.”
As more and more white workers find that their allegiance to equity and anti-racism is no protection, the day grows closer to when Critical Race Theory will go the way of the Salem Witch Trials. The best way to hasten that day is for maximum publicity to be accorded the fate of those who appease the CRT revolution in vain.
Go Morning Folks, here we are on a Monday; took the weekend off to relax and take in some TV. Meanwhile the swamp creatures were hard at work doing what they do best e.g., create anger, divisiveness, hate, tell lies, and BS gullible Americans. And of course puppet Joey continues to react to his string puller – Obummer. Anyway, here is another good one from my friend Greg. If you looked at the “Shopping – California Style” post and then read this one, it becomes obvious that sooner rather than later that style of shopping will be prevalent throughout our Third World shit hole, once referred to as United States of America. Just walk into a store pick out what you need (or just want) and walkout. I mean isn’t that the ultimate goal of defunding the police?
In the mid-1980s, it was perhaps the nation’s most anticipated civil service exam. After a series of layoffs, retirements (my Dad being one of them) and a hiring freeze courtesy of the late ‘70s malaise, the NYPD was looking to replenish their diminished ranks.
Despite a sweeping crack cocaine epidemic and a record number of homicides, there were many more applicants than openings. Aspiring candidates hailed from not only the city’s five boroughs, but throughout the country. Having taken the test on Manhattan’s Lower East Side, it was quickly evident that the test site, Seward Park High School, was for those from outside the city. And we were there in droves, classroom upon classroom.
Today, the NYPD is shedding officers like a Siberian Huskey in late June.
Last year, over 5,300 either retired or quit, a 75% increase from the year before – 15% of the total department. Nearly 1,000 officers have left in the first half of 2021.
According to the Philadelphia Inquirer, “The Philadelphia Police Department has 268 vacancies, and are expecting plenty more.” The New Jersey State Policemen’s Benevolent Association said their state is also facing a recruiting crisis as they usually receive up to 20,000 applications – this year only 2,023 qualified applicants applied.
As the summer policing season heats up nationally, the stories of how police departments are dwindling are legion. Recently, a Portland, Oregon volunteer rapid response police unit resigned en masse. Many city halls are seemingly defunding their police through attrition.
The National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund said police officers suffered 295 on-duty deaths in 2020 – the most ever since they started keeping records in 1786. When a city is not supporting their police, the working conditions become nearly impossible. When police stand-down, criminals step-up proving that criminality abhors a vacuum.
When you vilify every police officer for another’s poor decision, who wants the job? The “defunding the police” crusade and the endless negative media coverage of law enforcement has made anti-police sentiment mainstream. Such overt posturing has only fueled a police shortage nationwide. Provided a cop killed Hitler, the national media would mourn the loss of a promising Austrian artist and vegetarian.
This anti-cop virus has become a pandemic in high-crime neighborhoods that are in most need of policing. It remains a deterrent for police to act and most of all, it is a disincentive to remain on the job.
Black Lives Matter (BLM) prefers community watches, preferably Omega, Tag Heuer and Rolexes. Atlanta City Councilman Antonio Brown, a defund the police disciple, had his Mercedes stolen and it took police over an hour to respond. The BLM communities that support defunding deserve a year of no policing.
This universal defund movement is a logical incoherence with French Revolution overtones that underscores how critical the Second Amendment is as a constitutional right.
How far left will the anti-cop pendulum swing and disincentivize good people from pursuing a career in law enforcement and what will be the long-term damage to our communities?
Once upon a time in America, the police were to be respected. You cannot expect law and order when you malign its enforcement, while at the same time failing to hold certain groups responsible for their criminality. We demoralize police by treating criminals like victims and cops like criminals.
Apparently, nothing justifies deadly force. That’s what future victims hear, and it will only encourage more recklessness. The left beatifies as paragons of humanity those who resist arrest. For those who disagree with this woke ideology: fear and intimidation and perhaps loss of their job.
Feckless leadership that ended quality of life “broken-windows” policing, imposed no-bail laws, disbanded street-crime units, while adopting policies to empty prisons. Catch and release may work while fishing, but it is a lousy way to police a community.
The protagonists of the defund movement reside in communities where crime is not much of an issue. To people living in crime-ridden neighborhoods, having an effective police department is a crucial part of daily life.
Make no mistake our freedoms are in jeopardy as the facts are difficult to ignore. We must respect the law and those who work to enforce it because any war on policing puts everyone at risk.
No exceptions!
Okay, what’s say we go shopping this week, California Style? LOL. Of course I jest, but you just watch, so many companies have made rules about non interference, under the guise of protecting their employees. When they do that, the invitation is out, “Come and get what you want or need. Hell hire us old farts, arm us, and we will lower your shoplifting stats immediately! What say you guys?
We are fast becoming a divided nation based solely on skin color and gender, and Lightfoot and her spouse are the flag bearers.
Aren’t they a cute couple? Gee whiz. Their both uglier than ten bags of dead chickens a**holes. A match made in heaven. LOL Chicago, I have no sympathy or empathy for anyone in that city. You get what you elect. So suck it baby. She is reopening the city, so the criminals can get back out in the streets and pick up where they left off killing one another. Why somone would live in the city is beyond me. LOL
Another good one from my favorite contributor, Greg Maresca. Spot on as usual. Thanks Greg, keep em’ coming sir!
We have gone from social distancing to racial distancing, courtesy of Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot, who is a proud black lesbian and recently declared, “I will be exclusively providing one-on-one interviews only with journalists of color.”
The justification for this blatantly racist tort is that white reporters simply cannot walk a mile in her shoes, so they must be shunned. The historic Supreme Court justices who decided Brown v. Board of Education would not be amused.
Lightfoot lamented about “institutionalized racism” throughout the media and suggested that any negative coverage she receives in office is the result of “racial and implicit bias.” Like the racists of the Jim Crow South, Lightfoot ranks reporters by their skin color. Lightfoot’s discriminatory interview policy is a slight to all Chicagoans. Lightfoot advocates what sociologists define as “reverse racial segregation,” which is just as hateful and abhorrent as Jim Crow.
White or not, successful mayors do not blame the messengers.
So much for Martin Luther King’s dream of a colorblind society where race is nonessential to being an American. Where has King’s legacy gone when such loathing, bigotry and prejudice has never been condemned by any civil rights groups and in particular, Black Lives Matter?
The woke media’s continued silence only sanctions this obnoxious behavior throughout the Democrat Party just like the Jim Crow days proving just how cyclical history can be.
Never mind Chicago’s soaring crime and record murder rates, failing public schools, and hurting downtown. When a city has as many shootings as Chicago and its mayor worries more about the skin tone of reporters – the electorate suffers. Then again, what do you expect from a city where their cemeteries double as voting venues. Lightfoot is re-segregating our nation’s third largest city and using “racial and implicit bias” as the excuse to deflect from her own inadequacies, failed policies and feckless governance.
The underlying crux of the problem has been just too many white guys milling around asking questions.
Who knew?
Such pungent wokeism and cancel culture masquerading as progress and equality rather than grievance and retribution must send a thrill up the leg of progressive leftists everywhere.
Race is the perfect divergence for a politician of color like Lightfoot. Apparently unbeknownst to Lightfoot is that her blatant hypocrisy serves as additional ammunition for bigots. One cannot demand equality when one openly discriminates. Lightfoot is another exemplar in a long line of Democrat mayors who are incapable of dealing with the daunting challenges of their cities that have suffered through decades of gross mismanagement.
Placing judgment and exclusion based purely on someone’s skin tone and not their merit was the foundation for the Civil Rights Act that protects against discrimination where standards are applied uniformly regardless of race.
Lightfoot’s defiance distinguishes equality from equity that runs counter to the protections guaranteed in our Constitution. Where is the U.S. Justice Department’s investigation?
The Left has hijacked Civil Rights into fashioning certain identifiable groups as permanent victims and protected classes of people who are excused from life’s responsibilities and virtues.
The Left, led by President Biden, would rather bemoan relentlessly about white criminals in Tulsa a century ago rather than where the problem truly lies with present-day black criminals – political expediency at its best. In an irony for the ages, black residents of Tulsa 100 years ago would be astonished to learn that it is no longer racist white criminals to be feared, but their own kind who are the biggest perpetrators of crime and chaos within their neighborhoods.
All degrees of the woke race agenda and its offspring – the cancel culture – are anti-white, anti-Christian and anti-male, and no functioning society can survive such a fundamental and corrupted transformation.
Since Lightfoot is gay, black, and female, she is not to be questioned, criticized, or best – recalled. No national figure in this second decade of this 21st century will dare to call out such obvious and blatant racist bigotry. Moreover, there are no Chicago candidates of better quality than Lightfoot, so the slide of the nation’s third largest metropolis will only accelerate.
Led by the political left, America is again dividing itself by race and roaming toward a perilous cliff.
First of all, I did some search to get a photo of the Minnesota State Flag for this post and WOW! t appears they are in the process of redesigning it. I could not believe some of the submissions, albeit I was expecting to see one honoring George Floyd, maybe it’s coming?
Folks, if you live in MN or know someone who resides there, you may want to share this post with them. I can tell this much, if I lived there, which would be akin to living in the real cesspool of politics, yes you guessed it, ILLINOIS, and I had school aged children, you can bet they would not be attending the public school system. Wait till you read this garbage
Vladimir Lenin said:
“Give me just one generation of youth, and I’ll transform the whole world.”
Well, this country is working on that generation right now and before our eyes. And MN is leading the way. Question: Do you know what’s being taught to your children? Do you ask them at the dinner table every night what they learned in school that day? Well, if you don’t, than I happen to think you are part of the problem!!!
Minnesota’s New Social Studies Curriculum Would Racialize First-Graders, Teach High Schoolers About The Evils Of ‘Whiteness, Capitalism, And Christianity’
The Minnesota Department of Education released a draft of its new social studies curriculum standards, which place a new emphasis on diversity, equity, and gender.
The social studies curriculum is up for state-wide review during the 2020-21 school year as part of Minnesota’s 10-year cyclical curriculum review. The Department of Education’s standards committee has dubbed the new framework a “more inclusive approach to social studies education.”
According to a copy of the standards, the committee wants to begin social studies classes with a land acknowledgment. Land acknowledgments tell students that they are learning on land that was conquered by Americans, though once belonged to Native Americans.
“Minnesota is the contemporary and ancestral home of the Anishinaabe and Dakota peoples, and social studies education on this land will acknowledge and honor their contemporary and historical voices,” the draft reads.
Under the new standards, learning about social justice curriculum begins in the first grade. Six and seven-year-olds may be taught about systemic discrimination and how groups have fought against such discrimination.
“[Students will] learn to recognize unfairness, stereotypes, and bias on the individual level (e.g., biased speech) and injustice at the institutional or systemic level (e.g. discrimination),” the curriculum reads. “[Student will] explore how individuals and groups in the past have fought against bias and discrimination through social justice movements.”
The standards insist that fourth-graders investigate how race, ethnicity, gender, age, religion, and geographic location shape the opinions of people.
In fifth grade, students are asked to “investigate how groups (example: women, religious groups, civil rights groups, indigenous peoples, LGBTQ) have advocated for access to greater rights.” Fifth-graders must also learn about the ongoing debate about renaming buildings following the death of George Floyd and the resurgence of the Black Lives Matter movement.
Elementary students are asked to “analyze how different perspectives influenced past decisions to name places and impact changing place names today.”
Middle schoolers may soon be exposed to learning about racism in relation to the criminal justice system in Minnesota, the evils of capitalism, and social justice activism.
The standards ask sixth-graders to “describe the goals, offenses, penalties, long-term consequences, privacy concerns of Minnesota’s juvenile justice system and evaluate the impact on Black, Indigenous, Person of Color (BIPOC) communities.”
Sixth-graders are also asked to assess the goals of activists in their “quest for their voice to be heard.” The standards specifically address the activism of anti-war, racial minorities, immigrants and refugees, women, LGBTQ, and indigenous people.
In seventh grade, students may be asked to describe how profit can be used as “an incentive for people to exploit others or the environment.”
High school students undergo the most intense social justice indoctrination. At one point in the curriculum, freshmen are taught about the evils of “whiteness, Christianity, and capitalism,” and asked to question the country’s founding documents.
According to the standards, ninth-graders must “describe the tactics used by the United States government to claim indigenous and Mexican land, including but not limited to an analysis of the ideology of Manifest Destiny and its relationship to whiteness, Christianity, and capitalism.”
The same students learn about how Euro-Americans allegedly used “whiteness” and traditional gender norms to keep people enslaved.
“Identify how Europeans and Euro-Americans developed new legal justifications for slavery and settler colonialism in the Americas by creating new racial categories (i.e. Whiteness), and new ideas about gender,” the curriculum reads.
Other lessons include an explanation of how “systemic inequity” created barriers to accessing credit, explain how race is a “social construction” used to “oppress people of color,” and learn to embrace gender ideology.
“[Students will] explain the social construction of race and how it was used to oppress people of color and assess how social policies and economic forces offer privilege or systematic oppressions for racial/ethnic groups related to accessing social, political, economic, and spatial opportunities,” the curriculum reads. “[Students will] develop a respectful awareness about how ideas and norms about gender have changed over time, and how members of the LGBTQ+ community have responded to persecution or marginalization by building coalitions in order to promote gender equality/equity.”
Instructors are told to teach about the failure and successes of the 13th, 14th, and 15th Amendments during the Reconstruction era. The curriculum asks teachers to “connect this history to persistent discrimination and inequity in the present.”
Ninth-graders must also question why the United States’ founding documents included only the voices of white people.
“[Students will] analyze the founding documents of the United States, including the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution, as historical sources, asking who created them, whose voices were absent, and whose interests were articulated,” the standards read.
According to the Department of Education’s webpage, the committee will delay making a second draft until it has paid “full attention to issues of diversity and equity.”
During a virtual committee meeting, the department’s Assistant Commissioner for the Office of Teaching and Learning Bobbie Burnham said that the standards will be developed with an emphasis on the “lived experiences” of young, marginalized students.
“The committee has articulated the need to make standards and supporting benchmarks more meaningful by attending to the race, ethnicity, identity, and lived experiences of young people in relation to civic life and acknowledging voices and experiences of marginalized youth,” Burnham said.
A second draft is slated to be released in early June.

Was going to take a break since it’s Palm Sunday weekend, but I received this in an email from a friend today and It really struck a chord with me so I ask if I could pass it along on my blog. I did make a minor change; his card is not as old as mine. LOL
I’m selling my white privilege card. It’s over 80 years old, but is in mint condition. It has never been used, not even one time.
Reason for selling is that it hasn’t done a damn thing for me! No free college, no free food, no free housing, no free medical, no free utilities, no free anything. I actually had to go to work every day of my life while paying a boatload of taxes to carry those who chose not to work!
If you are interested, I prefer cash but would be willing to do an even trade for a Race Card, which seems much more widely accepted and comes with countless benefits if you fit the profile!
Interested? Contact me on my Non-Obama cell phone that I pay for every month… Serious buyers only “The problems we face today exist because the people who work for a living are outnumbered by those who vote for a living.
