Boys VS Girls

This country has lost its collective mind! If we, as Americans, don’t finally say enough is enough and take some action, our children will end up misfits, much like the latest generation that grew up during the height of the participation trophy heyday. Actually they are the ones who are pushing this equality equals participation garbage.

I attempted to find the 13 states who allow males to complete against females, but let me merely say, it is a highly muddied topic. I was able to identify a few who do so. Of course, at the top of the list is CA, then came MI, MA, NY, OR, WA, and PA. However,  others have very confusing criteria that I could not ascertain their stand on the issue.  I was shocked to see so many states who attempted to pass laws against transgenders playing in their newly adopted gender sports, but did not pass or the Governor vetoed the law.

What is your state’s rule of law? I do know that in my state those assigned female at birth may participate in boys’ and men’s sports, but those assigned male at birth may not participate in girls’ and women’s sports. Thank you Gov DeSantis.

While You Vacationed                                                       By: G. Maresca

Once school was dismissed back in June, the U.S. Department of Education, another federal bureaucratic dinosaur that has outlived its function if it ever had one, published 700 pages of gratuitous regulations concerning Title IX.

Title IX is the civil-rights law that bans discrimination on the basis of gender in any educational program funded by the federal government. When Title IX was enacted in 1972, it was to safeguard access for women in education and said nothing about athletics. That soon changed as Title IX remedied the dearth of women’s sports teams especially on college campuses with the purpose of equalizing the field of play.

A plethora of athletic scholarships soon followed.

It is no understatement to say that Title IX has become one of the most far-reaching and controversial laws of our time. In essence, it has turned a benevolent ideal into an Orwellian flummox.

Title IX’s latest changes are being touted by the National Education Association as a great victory. Such a blatant overstatement raises it share of red flags. Allow me to hoist a few.

Celebrating its 50th anniversary Title IX is showing its age in a pathetic attempt to jump on the transgender bandwagon. As the Child and Parental Rights Campaign website clarified among those 700-pages, gender identity is now defined as transgenderism where one’s biological gender means nothing. Schools are to support transitioning children without parental consent. This is already happening in California.

Schools have no right to usurp parental authority in directing the education and medical decisions for their children.

Outright dismissed is the mutilation done to children’s bodies. It was in July that the FDA admitted how puberty blockers can cause brain swelling and loss of sight, while hormone treatments can result in sterilization. Then there are the inestimable emotional scars.

Allowing male transgenders to compete against women handcuffs women’s athletics. The left does not comprehend that Title IX was never meant to allow males to compete against female athletes all the while violating their locker room privacy.

Fairness in competition is underscored in boxing. No one wants to watch a fight between a featherweight and a heavyweight, as it is simply unfair. So, too, is a competition between a transgender male and a biological female.

In sports, biology certainly matters; it is why women’s sports exist. When biological reality is dismissed, women pay a hefty price. With women losing to transgenders who are biological males under the auspices of Title IX has to be the greatest of ironies as it makes a mockery of women’s athletics.

You can thank Obama’s administration when Joe Biden was vice president that decided Title IX should also safeguard sexual orientation and gender identity. The Supreme Court then mitigated the legal meaning of both placing women’s sports in a free fall back to their starting line.

In its wake the Title IX phenomenon has advanced the development and growth of the nation’s college sports industrial complex that begs the question of how much true intrinsic value does it bestow upon higher education. The administrative state on college campuses has metastasized under the auspices of Title IX, where an army of bureaucrats waving the flag of diversity, equity and inclusion have been hired to ensure all regulatory requirements are adhered to.

Athletic competition for women was established because physical differences between the genders should not prevent any woman from competing. Once upon a time in America if you took such an opportunity away from a woman, you were a misogynist. In Biden’s America, it is called equality.

Title IX was meant to correct sex discrimination, not enforce it.

Thirty-seven states have enacted protections to preserve women’s athletics. These Title IX proposed federal changes will challenge all prior state legislative decisions.

Before reality is turned on its head, you can make a difference.

Statements are being accepted through September 12 at the Federal Register and must be original as scripting of comments (cut and paste) are not acceptable because any identical comment will be counted as just one. The Child and Parental Rights Campaign website does provide ideas in their “comment starter letters” section.

Exercise your right to be heard as the future of America’s children lie in the balance.

Humbled and Humiliated

Marines, family, and friends, I am both humiliated and totally embarrassed to do this. So many of you have reached out saying you truly want to do something to help as we recover from the destruction of  hurricane Ina (both cars flooded and totaled, house inside under 2-1/2 feet of water). At the height of the storm, Nancy and I were siting on folding chairs on top of the LR coffee table and the water was almost to our knees. Watching 155 MPH wind gusts turn 50-60 year old oak trees in to something akin to a cactus is something we will never forget. It was absolutely unbelievable how fast the water rose. Once the storm drain in our front yard could no longer handle the water it literally took over and our house became an island in a sea of water. And understand, we are many miles inland.

Many have offered to come to Florida but we have no place to put you up plus we have passed the point where we need physical help to remove everything from the house and not to the point where we can put things back together. The house is structurally sound but the contents were destroyed. The house has been gutted and we are  scrambling along with thousands of others trying to find a reputable contractor to put it all back together. The scammers are plentiful and from all over the country. We are living on the property in our RV at the present time but will probably have to move to a campground as it will, take many months to recover. Of course, in FL affordable homeowner’s insurance does not cover any personal items which includes furniture, not even a washer and dryer.  And no one offers flood insurance except FEMA. We have saved some items to see if they can be disinfected and reused, but I estimate about 3/4 of our contents are sitting on the curb waiting for the county to pick up.
We just found out our oldest granddaughter, Lindsay, set up a go fund me account to help us. PLEASE, PLEASE do not feel obligated to donate. Because you asked how you can help, other than keeping us in your prayers, this is the best way at the present time. With all the things I have experienced in my lifetime, this has to be the hardest to get my arms around. I never thought at my age I’d have to rebuild and furnish the entire inside of a home from scratch.

Please know that there are so many more in our area worse off than us. Many have no place to even live. If you would like to help them, the best way is through the SWFL Emergency Relief Fund where 100% of all donations goes to help those in need https://swfla.iphiview.com/…/contribution…/Default.aspxs

Please know that we are both okay physically, and emotionally we are taking it one day at a time and with the help of the Lord we will get thought this in time. Your continued prayers are so very  much appreciated.

America the Beautiful

To all those, actually only one, of my followers who takes umberance to my reference to this once great nation as a Third World Shithole, here are some things to chew on.  Absolutely unbelievable. In the very place where this nation was born, it now provides evidence as to what we have been become. Where were the police? Oh, they have probably been defunded by those in charge. Love when the one nonparticipant customer asks, “Are y’all making the sandwiches, or y’all gonna keep recording?” And the employee says, “It’ll be a little while,” like this sort of thing happens around this time every night. LOL

https://twitter.com/i/status/1573879098761392128

Then let’s go to the great state of CA, the home of fruits and nuts.

This clip shows a woman worker — identified only as “Mary” — following the grey-hooded man down an aisle and telling him she’s “called the police already.”

The shoplifter then brazenly reaches into the shelves and stuffs several items down his pants — and Mary calls him out for it, just inches from him. I wonder why he hid them as though no one knew what he was doing. Look closely at that dirtbag’s face, note the arrogance and defiance.

And how about these replies from your fellow Americans:

  • “Walgreens needs to suspend her for this,” one user declared. “She should not be risking her life over corporate profits.”
  • “This is how employees get murdered. Girl let that man keep them bags of chips. They not even half-full anyway,” another commenter said before incorrectly calling the store “Walmart” and adding that it “will hire another dummy in know time if she was killed.”
  • “There is nothing in that store that is worth your life and health,” another user wrote. “You’d get fired and screwed over if you got injured by that nonpaying customer.”
  • “She should’ve left him alone,” another commenter said. “She’s so lucky, he could’ve struck her. It’s not worth your safety & life stopping him.”
  • “This is absolutely against company policy. There are literal training videos that show that this is NOT what employees are supposed to do. (I may, or may not, have seen that training),” another user said. “I would bet that this woman will be getting written up, if not fired…”
  • “She is stupid,” another commenter wrote. “Could have gotten her teeth knocked out. Not worth it…. Corporate insurance covers loss. Btw she is violating Walgreen[s’] employee policy for physically trying to intervene, Call police is her only policy duty.”

Oh, and one commenter mocked the crook and what soft-on-crime San Francisco recently has become: “Please don’t shame this man! He is a valued, loyal customer of our beautiful, historic, open-air drug market. We love it when he brings toiletries, OTC meds, and other new, unopened merchandise to trade for fentanyl.”

Walgreens will shut down five San Francisco locations next month because of problems with “organized retail crime.”

The pharmacy chain said that each location will shift prescriptions to another store in the area.

“Due to ongoing organized retail crime, we have made the difficult decision to close five stores across San Francisco,” a Walgreens spokesperson informed Fox Business via a statement. “Each store will transfer prescriptions to a nearby Walgreens location within a mile radius and we expect to place the stores’ team members in other nearby locations.”

“Organized retail crime continues to be a challenge facing retailers across San Francisco, and we are not immune to that,” the spokesperson noted. “Retail theft across our San Francisco stores has continued to increase in the past few months to five times our chain average. During this time to help combat this issue, we increased our investments in security measures in stores across the city to 46 times our chain average in an effort to provide a safe environment.”

Sleep well my  fellow Americans. I, personally, can’t wait to see how this Third World Shithole handles the election come November. Probably just like the one that put that piece of shit in the White House two years ago.

“Coffee or Die”

You may have never heard of this company. I had a while back but never thought much about them until my friend Doug who reads the WSJ daily sent me this article. I hope I am not stepping on any toes at the WSJ by posting this. Every Veteran needs to read this. I’ve not tasted their brew, but plan to. What is interesting is how the company was (is) treated by some of our major commercial banking institutions and prestigious law firms. I do business with one of those banks, and you can bet your sweet bippy they are going to hear from me. How about you?

If you’ve tasted their brew, let us hear your comments on it.

A Socially Conscious but Politically Incorrect Company

You might call Black Rifle Coffee Co. a socially conscious enterprise. “This is a veterans’ corporation,” founder and CEO Evan Hafer, a former Green Beret, says in a Zoom interview. More than half of Black Rifle’s employees have served in the military or are family of veterans. In 2021 the company put $5.3 million in shares toward starting the BRCC Fund, a charity dedicated to helping wounded or traumatized veterans and their families. That was on top of $1.2 million in charitable contributions and $3 million worth of coffee and related products to active-duty military and first responders.

But Mr. Hafer says Black Rifle struggled to find banks and law firms to help it arrange an initial public offering. Since he founded the company in 2014, companies have told him that it was “too irreverent” and poses “reputational risk.”

You can see why Black Rifle wouldn’t be everyone’s cup of tea. Its blends include AK- 47 and Silencer Smooth, and its social media presence is colorful, to say the least. The company’s YouTube channel features a shooting contest that ends with Mr. Hafer trying to get a bull’s-eye after taking a direct shot of bear spray to the eyes and a video titled “Could You Be a Pregnant Man?” Mr. Hafer’s personal politics have also drawn outrage from the media—he voted for Donald Trump twice—as has the company’s popularity with some controversial figures on the right. Kyle Rittenhouse was photographed wearing a Black Rifle T-shirt. But none of this seems to have hurt the company’s revenue, which reached $233.1 million last year.

Mr. Hafer thinks the numbers should be evidence enough that Black Rifle’s reputation isn’t a material risk. But his company “started hitting a lot of resistance” from high-level finance companies and law firms, although they claimed they were interested in working with veteran- run corporations.

In 2019 and 2020, a Black Rifle spokeswoman says, company leaders were talking to Chase, Bank of America and Macquarie Group about raising capital. After initially showing interest, all three companies declined to work with Black Rifle, citing the company’s image. In 2018 Black Rifle had tried to open an account at a Chase branch in San Antonio and had been turned away over reputational concerns. The spokeswoman says that Macquarie was particularly fixated on the name of its in-house magazine, Coffee or Die, which covers military issues and won the Military Reporters & Editors Association’s 2022 journalism contest for overseas coverage.

Bank of America and Chase declined to comment. Macquarie said in an email: “We take into account a broad range of factors in making financing and investment decisions. We do not comment on confidential commercially sensitive discussions, including those that did not move beyond a very preliminary stage like this one.”

Black Rifle hit similar roadblocks in 2019 and 2020 with Skadden Arps, Latham & Watkins and Simp-son Thacher & Bartlett. All three law firms passed on working with the coffee company because of its image. According to the Black Rifle spokeswoman, Latham & Watkins said that its reputational risk committee thought no one from top law schools would be willing to work at the firm if it took on Black Rifle as a client, especially because its name included the word “rifle.” The name “is an homage to the service rifle,” Mr. Hafer says. Like the guns he taught special-operations soldiers to shoot, he says, coffee is “ lifesaving equipment.”

Simpson Thacher declined to comment. Skadden Arps and Latham & Watkins didn’t respond to requests for comment.

Despite these obstacles, Black Rifle is thriving. The company went public in February through a special- purpose acquisition merger with SilverBox Engaged Merger Corp and this summer rolled out marketing partnerships with the Dallas Cowboys and Amazon Prime Video.

Yet Mr. Hafer worries what the seemingly arbitrary treatment he experienced will mean for other veterans. “I think it’s going to be really important for those guys—men and women both—to understand, these are the types of doors that are going to be slammed in your face if you’re not conforming to a very specific narrative,” he says. “I don’t want them to go through some of the same issues that we’ve had to go through to get access to capital.”

Northerners Feel the Pain.

FL, TX and AZ have had enough of sloppy Joe’s and Harris’ BS about the border being secure This issue is, in my mind, the biggest problem facing this country today, and it’s about time those liberal northern states who have been immune to the realities of the open border feel the pain. Suck it libitards.

There is a lot to read here folks if you click on the links, LOL. Several states having to call out their National Guard to help. Don’t you just love it? Help by donating to FL and TX to send these illegals north!

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis followed through on his promise to drop off illegal immigrants in progressive states, sending two planes full of migrants to Martha’s Vineyard on Wednesday.

A video provided to Fox News Digital shows the migrants deboarding the planes at Martha’s Vineyard Airport in Massachusetts.

“Yes, Florida can confirm the two planes with illegal immigrants that arrived in Martha’s Vineyard today were part of the state’s relocation program to transport illegal immigrants to sanctuary destinations,” the governor’s communications director, Taryn Fenske, told Fox News Digital.

“States like Massachusetts, New York and California will better facilitate the care of these individuals who they have invited into our country by incentivizing illegal immigration through their designation as ‘sanctuary states’ and support for the Biden administration’s open border policies,” she said.

“As you may know, in this past legislative session the Florida legislature appropriated $12 million to implement a program to facilitate the transport of illegal immigrants from this state consistent with federal law,” she said, later adding that the state’s “immigration relocation program targets both human smugglers found in the state, but also preempts others from coming to Florida.”

The office of Massachusetts Gov. Charlie Baker responded to an after-hours email from Fox News Digital, saying it was aware of the situation and that the arrivals were provided short-term shelter.

“The Baker-Polito Administration is in touch with local officials regarding the arrival of migrants in Martha’s Vineyard,” Terry MacCormack, Baker’s press secretary, wrote. “At this time, short-term shelter services are being provided by local officials, and the Administration will continue to support those efforts.”

Fox News Digital reported in April that Florida’s budget since approved by the state legislature included $12 million for the Florida Department of Transportation to remove illegal immigrants from the state and relocate them.

Martha’s Vineyard is famously known as a playground of rich progressives, including former President Barack Obama, who bought a multimillion-dollar house there in 2019.

DeSantis, a Republican, proposed Delaware or Martha’s Vineyard as a destination for such migrants, but his office explained at the time that they could also be sent “to other ‘progressive’ states whose governors endorse blatant violations of federal immigration law.”

“It is not the responsibility of Floridians to subsidize aliens to reside in our state unlawfully; we did not consent to Biden’s open-borders agenda,” the governor’s office said at the time.

In November, DeSantis said dozens of migrant flights landed in Florida at the behest of the Biden administration, and he threatened at that time to send them to Delaware on buses.

Meanwhile, Texas Gov. Greg Abbott, a Republican, began sending thousands of illegal immigrants to Washington, D.C., in April as the migrant crisis overwhelmed border states. In August, buses from Texas started heading to New York City and Chicago. Arizona has also sent buses to Washington.

Vice President Kamala Harris, who was put in charge of tackling the border crisis by President Biden shortly after they assumed office in 2021, sparked a firestorm this week after she twice declared the U.S. southern border is “secure” while administration officials estimate an average of 55,000 so-called “gotaways” each month — illegal immigrants who successfully make it into the country without being detained.

God bless Governors Abbott and Desantis!
