The Salty Sailor

The views this mother has about Donald Trump are much like many other Americans. Her characterization of Trump as the “Salty Sailor” or as “The Fireman” paint an excellent picture!! She has written many great books about her son and family. This is a comment from KAREN VAUGHN, Mother of Aaron Vaughn, Navy Seal.

“Sometimes God uses the no-nonsense, salty sailor to get the job done. Appreciating what the man is doing doesn’t mean we worship the salty sailor or even desire to be like the salty sailor. It doesn’t even mean God admires the salty sailor. Maybe He just knows he’s necessary for such a time as this.

I believe with all my heart that God placed that salty sailor in the White House to give this nation one more chance in November 2020 Donald Trump is what he is – and he is still the man he was before the election – and without guilt. I very much admire what that salty sailor is accomplishing.

He’s not like me. That’s okay with me. I don’t want to be like him. I will never behave like him. I know we’ve NEVER had a man like him lead our nation before. It’s crazy and a little mind-blowing at times, but I can’t help admire the stamina and ability he has – acting with his heart rather than a calculated, PC, think tank-screened, carefully edited script. I still believe that is WHY he became our President and WHY he’s been able to handle a landslide of adversity and STILL pass unprecedented amounts of good legislation for our country AND do great works for MANY other nations, including Israel.

I’m THRILLED with what he’s doing for my nation, for the cause of Christ (whether intentional or unintentional, doesn’t matter to me), and for the concept of rebuilding America and putting her FIRST. I will not be ashamed of my position because others don’t see him through the same lens.

Should it matter to me if a fireman drops an f-bomb while he’s pulling me from a burning building? Would I really care about what came out of his mouth in those moments? Heck no! I’d CARE about what he was DOING. He wasn’t sent there to save my soul and I’m not looking to him for spiritual guidance. All I’m thinking in those moments is, “Thank you, GOD, for sending the fireman.” AND DONALD TRUMP IS OUR FIREMAN.

I’ll soon post this article again for those who still might not understand me. This man is crass. Okay. He’s not careful with what he says. Okay. You feel offended that he’s not a typical statesman. Okay. But he is DOING THE JOB of rebuilding the nation my son died for… the nation I feared was on a fast track to becoming a hopeless cause.

Forgive me if I’m smiling.”

Disclosure, I have not checked the veracity of the comments above to see if they did come from Karen. Why? Because I really don’t care whether it did or not The comments could very well have be written by anyone like me who believes Donald was sent here to save us.  God bless him!!

What’s missing?

Here is is Sunday before Christmas, yesterday was the Winter Solice, and it’s raining today (we really need it) so I am locked in the house. bored. So here is something to chew on.

OK, we have had, what, five debates so far? Sorry, but I simply could not force myself to watch even a minute of any of them since I had a pretty good idea what was going to be asked as well as the answers. I wonder if anyone leaked the questions to their favorite choice?

Anyway, I received an email from an active member of this blog enlightening me to an issue that I did not know about since I chose to watch reruns of Gunsmoke or taped episodes of Laurel and Hardy, depending whether I wanted to watch a great western or comedy. Of course, I jest, as I don’t know what I watched instead of the stooges. But then I digress.

I’d ask you if there is anything you might believe tis missing from any of the following photos of the various debates. This, my followers, is a test and I wont provide you with the answer.  From my friend who sent me the email, this issue was reported by none other than FOX News.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I could not find a photo fro CBS, I guess they did not sponsor a go around yet?

The one shot I found laughable was the CNN Debate in Detroit. Why was it held in the “Fox” theater. Was this an attempt to add Fox News to the agenda? Nah, they wouldn’t do that, would they?And And finally, I just had to add my attempt at humor, but then if you watched the debates, you really don’t need anymore.OK, itOkay, OK, now it’s your turn. What’s missing on the stages of the debates? Fox suspects it would have triggered some people into anxiety, or words to that effect. Really? Whatever their reason was, I think every American needs to consider that which is missing.

Got it? Tell me and tell me your thoughts on it. Then pass it around to your progressive friends, if you have any. As you know, I do not.

I do not consider myself a conspiracy nut like some folks e.g., the white supremacists and the doomsday theorists. however, I have long had a belief we were slowly moving towards a showdown between to two sides of the aisle. In fact, there are even some on my side of the aisle who are sitting on the wrong side. I cannot remember in my lifetime (and I just turned 79 last week) where our elected officials have come under such scrutiny for unheard of wrong doings, yet nothing happens to them, not even a slap on the hand. They have all become millionaires at our expense. Tell me how an elected official can accumulate so much wealth on $174,000 a year salary? They are all lying crooks, thieves, outright robbers who are not serving the people, but stealing from them, and laughing all the way to the bank.

I also assumed the start of the conflict between the states would stem from the Second Amendment rights, and here it is. You need to read this article carefully, and you need to decide now on which side are you on. And regardless on your decision, you should be preparing yourself for the inevitable. It’s going to happen; we the people are getting fed up, disgusted with the very institutions designed to protect us from tyranny. The FBI, DOJ, CIA, NSA, etc. have always been our saviors, our safeguards against corruption and tyranny, yet today, they are being used against us.

We were saved by the last national election, and I believe he will prevail again come next year, but it will certainly get very, very ugly. Like the old infantry warning, keep you canteens filled and your powder dry.

God help this nation because it can’t help itself anymore.

I am really getting sick and tired of reading all the BS going on with our elected officials; I really think we need a big broom and sweep all these useless windbags out the door. They are all becoming millionaires and billionaires at our expense. And now I see the NY scumbag of all, the former Governor of that scum sucking state has entered the race, but he waited till the debates were over to announce. The term dirty politics is a freaking joke, is there such a thing as clean politics? Of course not.

So, back to where I started, that is being tired of all this BS. Someone sent me the below link that warmed my heart, it brought back so many fond memories of the days in my 50 Ford drag racing, listening to the sound of those sweet deep throat-ed Douglas glass packs, parking at the airport watching the submarine races, and listening to music, real music, the kind you could understand;  not the kind we hear today talking about “hoes”  and such.

Some viewing this may not remember what those days were like, but I am certain I will get some comments from those who well remember the glory days of the birth of rock and roll.  It’s amazing that after 47 years he still had the voice.
