  1. Thanks, Jim, for sharing this. I’ve looked at it several times and the last was no easier than the first. As I said, I’m on your side of this one. But the more I see, the more I would prefer to pack my gear and get over there to help out. We are lead by morons and as Burke once said, “the only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing.”

    1. I understand completely Mike. But there is evil all over the globe, even so much right here in the USA. We are losing our country more each day, so when I feel a need to go help out some other country, I look within our borders and ask myself why. We need help and where are our allies. Sitting on their dairy airs spending our money that we give every year to these treaty organizations and do gooders like WHO, WTO, e3tc. Screw them, I have become a devote America First guy and the hell with the rest of them,

  2. Thank you Jim, no offense take. Totally understand, but I am afraid if this SOB decides to escalate we then may have no choice. I hope to Hell it doesn’t go to this extreme. You’re right by the way…thanks for your input here, steady as she goes..I would really be pissed if something happened to my son!

    1. JJ, there you go again sir, what do you mean we may not have a choice? I don’t give a hoot in hell if he takes back all of Eastern Europa. I am not a Globalist JJ. To me, the only country that counts anymore is America. The hell with the rest of them, let them feign for themselves. I have said this in posts before and I shall say it again. I respect Putin. He is a no BS guy, he is a leader. He and Trump understood and respected one another. He respects strength, and screws with the weak. He would never attempt this with Trump in command here. The only thing the world respects is strength and we “ain’t” one the strong ones anymore militarily, economically, or morally.

  3. Question? Now or later, the cost to sit idle or take decisive action? Is this not any different when for example of Britain standing alone, the invasion of Kuwait, the stakes cannot be any higher… No one nation has the right to invade it’s neighbor, freedom is not free. As Veterans, we understand this more than any other. Just a thought….

    1. Yes, but this may be where we disagree JJ. It is time for us as a Nation to cease and desist being the caretaker of the world? How many parents have lost their children in wars we had no business being there. WW II was the last. What have we accomplished since then? Not a damn thing and how many lives have we lost? I just did a quick tally of deaths in BS places where we had no freaking business. The total deaths is roughly 66,072 Is that how the U.S. is to maintain population growth? By getting our young men and women killed off fighting in places where we have no interest at all? WTF did we accomplish in Vietnam, Iraq, Afghanistan, Yemen, Beirut, and so on besides maintain population growth of our young men and women. I give a shit less about Ukraine, haven’t lost a damn thing there and I can think of nothing the US has to gain for the loss of one American. Is this the “Military Industrial Complex” at work that Eisenhower warned us about in the 50s? They are the only ones who profit from war. If Putin wants to take those two provinces that are filled with actual Russians, have at it big guy; I say go for it.
      Furthermore, our military is in shambles, if we went to war with Russia, Putin would kick our dumb asses all over Europe, and what do you think NATO would do, hell all those countries are run by women who detest war. Remember the old saying “French army rifle for sale, dropped twice.”
      Final question, and I don’t say it to be mean, but I will rest my case when you answer. Would you be Ok losing Jared if he were sent to Ukraine to stop Putin and was a KIA or permanently handicapped?? I’m sure I know the answer to that JJ. Think about it. We have enough problems here at home to have to get involved in something where we have no business.
      Sorry for the diatribe, but have been talking on the internet with some of my peers and they are all uptight about this Putin shit and think we should go kick ass. Trying to connect Putin with Hitler. OMG. We have lost enough young kids lives in Europe whilst they sit back and expect big daddy to come to the rescue again. BULKLSHIT! I’ll shut the hell up now JJ. Sorry buddy, but your comment that “no nation has the right to invade a neighbor.” It’s been going on for 1,000s of years and will continue to happen. It’s human nature, hell we were guilty of it ourselves.
